Accommodation

There are a wide range of accommodation options available on the University campus and close surrounding areas of Loughborough, ranging from approximately £39 to £200 per night. Each is within walkable distance of the conference venues or serviced by local transport links, taxi, or car.

On campus accommodation

On-campus accommodation options will be available from Sunday 26th July to Saturday 1st August 2026.

Claudia Parsons Student Halls of Residence

We will provide the option of single room en-suite accommodation (available to all delegates) within Claudia Parsons student halls of residence at a price of £39 per night including breakfast. Bookings can be made while registering for the conference and can be considered as confirmed once the payment has been made. This option will only be available to book until 15th July.

The Accommodation Reception is in the Claudia Parsons Hub, located in the centre of the Claudia Parsons accommodation. Check in will be from 8.00 am on the day of arrival, with check out by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Reception will be open from 8.00 am until midnight over the duration of your event. Anyone arriving after midnight will need to collect their keys from security, from the security hut at the East entrance to the campus. There will be a full room clean with bed linen changed every 4th day, or earlier, if staying for 5 nights or more (will not be cleaned on a Saturday or Sunday). Rubbish will be removed from bedrooms and communal ares cleaned every day except Sunday. A bath towel will be provided and changed when bed linen is changed. Soap and plastic beaker will be provided and replenished when bed linen is changed.

Burleigh Court

An award-winning 4-star hotel, located at the heart of Loughborough University’s campus. Burleigh Court hotel is 0.8 miles away from the conference venue, with easy access off campus to local countryside walks and Loughborough town. It can be accessed via the Sprint bus service from Loughborough Station (stop: Engineering), or by car from Junction 23 of the M1, and has a gym, 15 m swimming pool, spa services, bar and restaurant to cater for all needs.

Off campus accommodation

The Link Hotel

Loughborough’s premier 3-star hotel, owned by the university and 1.4 miles away from the conference venue, with easy access to the M1 motorway and Loughborough town. It is well situated for those driving to Loughborough. It has a bar and restaurant to cater for all needs, and those staying at The Link can obtain a day pass to use the gym, swim and spa facilities located in the Burleigh Court Hotel on campus.

Premier Inn – Loughborough

Located in Loughborough town centre. Ideal for those arriving by train as it is a 20-minute walk from the station. The Premier Inn has a restaurant on site but is very close to a host of other dining options in Loughborough town centre and is close to bus links for faster travel to and from the conference venue. The hotel is within walking distance from the beautiful Queen’s Park, Carillon and aviary, as well as the Great Central Steam Railway Loughborough Station.

Travelodge Loughborough

Located in Loughborough town centre. Ideal for those arriving by train as it is a 20-minute walk from the station. The Travelodge is close to a host of dining options in Loughborough town centre and is close to bus links for faster travel to and from the conference venue. The hotel is within walking distance from the beautiful Queen’s Park, Carillon and aviary, as well as overlooking the River Soar Canal.

Quorn Country Hotel

A country hotel located in the village of Quorn, just outside of Loughborough, close to the banks of the River Soar. It is perfect for those looking to be closer to nature, but with home-from-home creature comforts. It has a library bar and brasserie restaurant for relaxed and a la carte dining, as well as an afternoon tea option available to book in their Orangery, for a more traditional British stay.

Quorn Grange Hotel

A country hotel located on the outskirts of the village of Quorn, just outside of Loughborough, which is close to Swithland reservoir for those looking for some outdoor walks alongside the conference. It has a bar and restaurant for relaxed and a la carte dining, as well as an afternoon tea option available to book, for a more traditional British stay.
